Needed: New Projector for Greater Wellington

Furniture Update for the Greater Wellington area:
A big thank you to all our donors who recently provided quality furniture and household items for new arrivals to Greater Wellington in December. Many thanks again—we simply couldn’t do what we do without your wonderful support!
Our van service is closed for the holidays. We will be back briefly for one day of pickups on Thursday 15 December (already filling up!), before closing for the holidays. We’ll reopen near the end of January.
When we are back on board, we'll be collecting the following quality items:
- Double/queen and single beds
- Cots
- Oil column heaters
- Good quality blankets
- Fridge-freezers, washing machines, microwaves
- Couches & lounge chairs
- Dining tables and chairs (especially small tables)
- Computers
- Car and booster seats – no more than 10 years old (see Plunket’s website for guidelines on 2nd-hand car-seats)
- Clean floor rugs
- Curtains
Please note that we are unable to take clothing, toys, broken items, stained or marked items; we unfortunately do not have the resources to store or fix these items. Thanks for your understanding!
To offer a donation, call us on 04-805-0304 or email furniture@refugeeservices.org.nz with your donation details, and we will be in touch to arrange collection. We pick up donated furniture on Thursdays during working hours. (Closed during summer, re-opening late January 2012!)
