Porirua Volunteers
The next training courses for volunteers in the Wellington, Porirua and Hutt regions for 2010 are listed below.
Please note we are also looking at the possibility of holding day courses for those volunteers unable to attend evening courses. This will depend on demand - if you would prefer to attend day time sessions, we encourage you to please contact your nearest office. Details below.
Latest update as of 11 December 2009:Thanks to all our donors, we now have enough furniture for all our new arrivals this month
We will start collecting furniture again in late January and the items we really need are quality single beds (about 25 of them), along with oil column heaters, washing machines & refrigerators, drawers, bedside cabinets and sofas/lounge chairs.
If you can help, please email Liz Barrett so that I have your donation details when we return from the festive season holidays in January. I will then be in touch with you to arrange collection.
