Use of text on this site
Most navigation elements are plain text and we have provided text alternatives to graphics on the site.
Those with poor sight may be able to increase the size of the text on screen.

Internet Explorer | Select the 'View' menu, then 'Text Size', and then your chosen size (or if you have a mouse wheel simply hold down CTRL and roll the mouse wheel to alter the text size. |
Netscape 6, Mozilla | Hold down CTRL and press + or - to alter the text size. |
Netscape 4 | Hold down CTRL and press [ or ] to alter the text size. |
Netscape 3 | Select 'Options', then 'General Preferences', then 'Fonts', and then 'Choose Font...' to choose a text size. |

The site has been tested in version 3 browsers and above for PC and Mac and a number of earlier ones. If you find this site difficult to use with your browser please let us know.
Page load times
We have been careful to ensure that most pages are short and will load quickly. Information on the site is available in HTML format, with PDF and Word provided as alternatives where appropriate. Most pages are less than 30K and should load in under 9 seconds using a 28k modem.
